Dr. Hafiz Rehan Nadeem​

Chief Operating Officer

Dr. Hafiz Rehan Nadeem is a seasoned Food Professional, Auditor, Trainer, Policy Advisor, Food Regulatory Specialist and Social Influencer having expertise in Research, Innovation, Integration, Inspiration and Commercialization. He is the co-founder and Secretary General of National Alliance for Safe Food, which is the Pakistan’s largest food professionals network working on Safe Food-Healthy Nation. Hafiz is also Chief Operation Officer of Global Halal Services Pvt. Ltd, A Halal Certification Body accredited by Pakistan National Accreditation Council.

Dr. Hafiz has a track record of Auditing and Trainings against Food Safety Standards, Quality Management System and Halal Certification Standards. He is a certified trainer of Highfield for HACCP and Food Safety Level 2 to Level 4 and an approved trainer of National Business Development Pakistan, SMEDA for food and hospitality sector. He developed multiple training modules on Food Safety and Halal Management System. Dr. Rehan is also qualified assessor of PNAC against PS 4992 and have trainings on ISO 17065 & ISO 17067. He is a visiting faculty member in Superior University Lahore and previously served as lecturer in Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan. He published several articles in international journals and also presented his research in different national and international conferences.

Dr. Rehan is a confident and energetic young professional having good exposure and proficient networking skills with Government Bodies, Academic Institutes, Research Organizations, Food Industries, Regulatory and Certification Bodies. He has strong professional associations like; member of PSQCA Technical Committees on Halaal Conformity Assessment Standard (PS 4992) and Halaal Foods (PS 3733), member of Qualification Development Committee for “Competency Standards based Food Technology Level 2-5” by National Vocational & Technical Training Commission, Govt. of Pakistan, secretary FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Food Safety & Security 2020-21, President Community of Food Scientists & Nutritionists IFSN, BZU 2017-18, Lifetime Member Pakistan Society of Food Scientists & Technologists (PSFST), member Institute of Research Promotion, organizer Invention to Innovation Summits and Chief Organizer Food Safety Awareness Sessions in Pakistan.
